Nissan Juke R specs revealed

Nissan reveals claimed performance figures for steroidal GT-R-powered Juke R, billed as the world's fastest crosssover
The protracted PR campaign for Nissan's GT-R-powered Juke R continues unabated, with the company now releasing claimed performance figures for the musclebound crossover.
Nissan says the 358kW 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 propels the Juke R from 0-100km/h in a blistering 3.7sec, while top whack is quoted at 257km/h.
The company goes on to say: “Testing has proved that Juke-R enjoys supercar handling from a compact crossover, thanks to use of the Nissan GT-R’s suspension and drivetrain as well as an FIA-specification roll cage and unique split rear wing.”
The fact the Juke R has a significantly lower v-max than the GT-R is largely due to the more aerodynamic shape of the latter. The GT-R is also much lighter than the portly (1806kg) Juke R, which required extra chassis reinforcement and a roll cage.
The Juke R has the same length, wheelbase and height as the donor vehicle, but its width has increased from 1765mm to 1910mm, with flared wheel arches surrounding 20-inch RAYS forged alloy wheels.
Inside, the driver and passenger sit in OMP race seats, with all the controls and instruments from GT-R at their fingertips. The seven-inch touch-screen display is in the centre of the dashboard, providing access to the same info accessible in the GT-R.
As previously reported, the Juke R was conceived in the UK, with two examples – one left-hand-drive and one right-hand-drive – being completed over a 22-week period.
The whole process has been documented in a series of videos that can be viewed here, with the latest instalment (Video 11) providing a wrap-up of the story so far and a few snippets of the car being wrung out on the circuit.
