You might recall news last week of Nissan’s high-output Juke-R; the high output SUV packed full of GT-R goodness.
Now, this one-off road-legal concept has made an appearance on YouTube, its masterminds explaining just how much work has gone into the development of this far-from-standard crossover.
Conceived by motorsports outfit RML, in conjunction with Nissan Technology Centre for Europe, Juke-R is motivated by the same 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 and six-speed transaxle as found in the GT-R.
The wide wheel arches house 20-inch RAYS forged alloy wheels while the interior is a mismatch of Juke and GT-R parts, as well as FIA-approved race seats, roll cage and five-point harnesses.
“Nissan Juke is one of the most exciting cars on the market today,” explained Nissan Europe’s senior VP of sales and marketing, Paul Willcox. “It lends itself perfectly to a sports derivative and Juke-R explores that territory.
“Equally at home on road and track, Juke-R showcases two of the most exciting cars in our range and highlights the technical innovation that drives Nissan. This car will more than live up to the dynamic driving experience we engineer into all our cars.”
