If you wanted more ‘stealth’ with your 2024 Nissan Navara 4x4, you might want to put your name down for the incoming Navara Black Edition, which will be available in a matter of weeks – albeit in limited numbers – boasting a (slightly) tougher new look.
Based on the mid-spec Nissan Navara ST 4x4 (from $55,455 plus ORCs in auto) and set to hit local showrooms in early September, the limited edition Navara will be capped at just 400 examples Down Under.
Priced at $59,990 drive-away, the Navara Black Edition adds a host of – you guessed it – black bits, including 17-inch gloss black alloy wheels (with all-terrain Yokohama rubber), a black sports bar, door handles, mirror caps, and tub liner.
Of course, ‘Black Edition’ decals feature on the doors and tub to let everyone know you nabbed one of just 400 special edition Navara utes.
Two colourways are available at no extra cost – Solid White or Black Star – however, buyers can also opt for Twilight Grey or Brilliant Silver for another $700.
Either way, every Navara Black Edition will feature a matte black grille surround along with a genuine Nissan soft tonneau cover.
For another $500, Nissan is offering buyers the option to upgrade to the Australian-made and engineered HSP Electric Roll Top Cover and HSP Rear Tailgate Central Locking.
Otherwise, it’s business as usual, and the Navara Black Edition carries over the same standard equipment found in the ST grade. That includes LED lighting all round, tinted rear windows, keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers, seven airbags, and more.
The powertrain also goes untouched, where a 2.3-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel churns out 140kW/450Nm, while a 3.5-tonne braked towing limit is standard.
