Nissan's kooky Juke isn't offered in our market, but having driven the baby crossover in the Middle East (more here), we know it to be a relatively sedate – albeit oddball looking – package.
Well, that's all about to change as Nissan is allegedly planning a hardcore Godzilla version – stuffed full of the same running gear as the GT-R – and this sketch of the proposed vehicle has surfaced on a handful of websites.
According to Nissan insiders quoted by UK's Autocar magazine, the 'Super Juke' will be capable of a 4sec 0-100km/h split and top whack around 270km/h, thanks to the wallop provided by the GT-R's 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 (albeit in slightly detuned form).
In addition to having more than double the grunt of the standard turbo Juke, the go-faster variant will also reportedly feature a lightened interior to further boost its power-to-weight ratio.
There's no missing it visually either, as wildly flared guards are complemented by a tarmac-scraping front spoiler with multiple ducts, and there are also NACA ducts in the bonnet. The flanks are adorned by a pair of side skirts with cooling inlets for the rear brakes, while mounted to the trailing edge of the roof is a brace of racecar-like wings.
The beefy GT-R-style wheel-tyre combo is equally obvious, as are the big drilled stoppers that nestle within these.
There's really not a lot more to go on at this stage, but a Nissan source has allegedly stated that more info will be released next week. Watch this space…
