Nissan will unveil a high-performance concept built around its new Tiida small car at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney next week. The Tiida Sport Concept is a be-spoilered version of the small car which debut for the brand Down Under in 2006.
The concept car features WRC-inspired styling and a dramatic four-seat interior.
The exterior features special Pearl White paint. A large rear roof-mounted spoiler sets the tone for the concept as do its large flared guards, deep front spoiler and side sills, and 20-inch wheels. Think Playstation GT4 meets shopping trolley and you won't be far wrong!
The interior of the Tiida Sport Concept is designed to fit four adults comfortably with an emphasis on the front two seats. Deep, body-wrapping front bucket seats feature formed head restraints and four-point rally-style seat belts.
Alas it's highly unlikley the hot Tiida will be seen on roads -- either oversea or Down Under. According to Nissan, the Tiida Sport Concept is the latest in a series of "dynamic performance/youth concept vehicles." There are currently no plans to productionise the car.
The Tiida Sport Concept can be seen on the Nissan stand in Hall 3 of the Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre, Sydney (NSW) during the Australia International Motor Show from October 14-23, 2005.
