Novitec adds stance to Ferrari 812 Superfast

For most of us the Ferrari 812 Superfast might be the car of our dreams.

But suppose you’ve taken delivery of Maranello’s V12-powered 588kW super-coupe only to find it isn’t pushing the right buttons; what then?

Fortunately German tuning house Novitec has the answer.

Presenting a catalogue of upgrades for the $610,000 prancing horse, Novitec offers forged alloy wheels from Vossen – measuring 21 inches diameter up front and 22 up back – along with lowered springs (-35mm), a revised front lift system, and a lightweight inconel exhaust with active flaps for a purebred Italian soundtrack.

The exhaust also sheds 11kg of mass, and if you've ever heard the Ferrari 812 at full noise, dial it up a few notches and you'll be getting close to how this beast will howl.

Visually, the Novitec-enhanced Fezza adopts carbon-fibre aero garnishes – available in gloss or matte finish – that include a new-look front lip spoiler, hood vents, mirror scalps, skirts and rear spoiler.

In the cabin we’re assured there’s "virtually no limits" in terms of colours and designs for the upholstery, with leather, Alcantara and carbon-fibre accoutrements available throughout.

Novitec says driveline enhancements for Ferrari’s 6.5-litre V12 (588kW/718Nm) are still in their development phase, but with form in this department we expect big things. Anyone remember the tweaked 458 Speciale?

In its current form the Ferrari 812 Superfast is capable of hitting 100km/h in 2.9sec and 200km/h in 7.9sec. V-max is claimed at 340km/h.
