Ferrari is planning to follow up its Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 speedsters with an extremely limited run of rebodied supercars based on the current Ferrari F8 Tributo.
According to owners and fans on the Ferrari Chat forum, the special supercar will be a one-off and named the Ferrari SP48 Unica.
Designed, developed and engineered by the Italian supercar-maker's special projects division, the SP48 Unica is primed to follow on from the 488 GT3 race car-based Ferrari P80/C, and it's rumoured the special model will once again offer extreme levels performance and be track-focused.
Set to land in 2022, the last Ferrari Special Projects vehicle was 2020's 812 Superfast-based Omologata.
Normally commissioned for a seven-figure price, one-off Ferraris are usually created for high-profile Ferrari collectors that in the past have included rock god Eric Clapton.
