One-off McLaren P1 shown
Macca’s Special Ops shows off hypercar that looks like its inspired by this season’s disastrous F1 carMcLaren’s Special Operations (MSO) has shown a one-off P1 hypercar it’s created for a British customer.
Looking suspiciously like the black/red combo from this year’s struggling McLaren Honda MP4-30 F1 car, the P1 sports similar red highlights both externally and inside the hypercar’s cabin.
Under the rear bonnet the P1 is said to remain unchanged meaning it still dispatches the 0-100km/h dash in 2.8 seconds, while 200km/h is notched up in 6.8 seconds and 300km/h in 16.5 seconds.
It’s not known how much the special paintjob inflated its already million-dollar pricetag, but more MSO-style bespoke cars are almost certain to follow.
