Pagani Zonda Kiryu valued at $3m
Italian exotics don't come much rarer than this, a one-off, Japan-only, carbon freak-showAt a high profile launch at Fuji Speedway last Friday, Pagani debuted the one-off Zonda Kiryu, meaning 'dragon of hope' in Japanese. The incredible design made chiefly of carbon-fibre, is based on the Zonda F Roadster and employs the same engine spec as F1 champion Lewis Hamilton’s Zonda 760LH from 2012.
Packing 760hp, or 559kW, the Kiryu is powered by a AMG-tuned 7.3-litre V12 engine that propels the Italian supercar to 100km/h in around 3.0 seconds. However, unlike Hamilton's 760LH (pictured below) which incorporates a six-speed manual gearbox, the Kiryu's V12 is mated to a six-speed, single-clutch sequential gearbox.
Like the oddly named Zonda Zozo, the Kiryu is a one-off model built to order for a very well-heeled Japanese customer. It employs a bespoke light blue leather interior, matching blue exhaust surround, headlight rings and air intakes, and a one-off emblem which says 'Zonda Kiryu'.
The Kiryu is valued at between $2,000,000 to $3,000,000, is the last Zonda F Roadster to be customized as the model is now out of production.
