French car magazine, L’Automobile, has leaked the all-new concept Renault will unveil at today’s Paris motor show.
Called the Trezor (Ed: no, not Trevor!) the new concept is sporty, low-slung pure-electric coupe, that features a dramatic clamshell door. Images of the vehicle have since been circulating the internet including carscoops.com.
Trezor is claimed to pick-up where the sporty DeZir concept left off by /renaults-future-unveiled-20008/ signposting the firm’s all-new design language.
The DeZir coupe was introduced at the 2010 Paris show and has influenced every car Renault has introduced since. These include the current Clio and all-new Megane .
According to a Renault insider, at a pre-motor show gathering for the French car-maker, the Trezor will not go into production but will influence the next generation of Renault cars. The first car to be directly inspired by its styling cues will arrive in 2018.
With more information set to be revealed later today, the Trezor is claimed to debut fully autonomous driving aids that could allow a driver to nap on long journeys.
Stay tuned for more information on the radical Renault concept live from the Paris show tonight and tomorrow.
