Patrol safer by standard

Nissan is including dual airbags as standard on the Patrol DX model

Dual airbags will be offered as standard on the Nissan Patrol DX wagon come October.

The company says the safety inclusion to the DX Patrol means every passenger and commercial vehicle in Nissan's range is available with either standard or optional dual front airbags.

The Patrol, Pathfinder, X-TRAIL, 350Z, Maxima and Tiida model all feature standard dual front airbags, while the Navara utility range is available with dual airbags as standard on high specification models and as an option on all other models.

Pricing of the revised Patrol DX wagon will start from $50,040 for the 3.0-litre turbo diesel, while the 4.2-litre turbodiesel starts at $56,680.
