Perth charges up for second annual iDriveWA event

West Australia’s leading zero-emissions expo returns for 2021, including EV test drives

Western Australia’s only dedicated zero-emissions mobility expo, iDriveWA, is back for 2021 with more than 60 exhibitors set to showcase evolving green vehicle technologies at the Driver Risk Management Centre at Perth Airport tomorrow.

Broken into four ‘streams’, the second edition of the event will run from 10:00am to 4:30pm AWST. It will consist of various interactive stalls, displays, demonstrations, seminars and lectures covering everything from consumer electric vehicles (EVs) and charging to industrial applications and fleet management.

All of these subjects and more will be covered in the Future Transport Industry Conference (stream one) comprising multiple addresses, presentations and panel discussions with various industry experts, representatives and state politicians.

For those curious about the driving experience behind the wheel of an EV, 500 test drives will be held throughout the day on the training centre’s test track where prospective buyers can sample the wares of numerous vehicles from a range of manufacturers including Hyundai, BMW, MINI, Audi and Nissan.

Stream three comprises the Vehicle and Energy Technology Exhibition, where attendees can browse dozens of vehicle, technology, e-bike, scooter and 4x4 displays, as well as get the rundown on heavy industry applications of zero-emissions hardware.

Streams one, three and four are all at capacity, however, there are still places available for stream two (test drives) – click here to register.
