Peugeot will unveil an all-new concept car at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 5 that will influence the design of its next-generation electric cars.
Named the Peugeot Inception, the new pure-electric concept will showcase the French car-maker's new EV technologies.
Said to also herald the introduction of Stellantis’ all-new electric vehicle platform, Peugeot brazenly claims the Inception will “turn the entire automotive experience upside down”.
As well as a fresh exterior design, the influential Inception concept will introduce a future Peugeot i-Cockpit cabin design.
The Stellantis-owned French brand has already announced that by 2024 it will offer electrified versions of every model it makes.
Before then, Peugeot will roll out the all-electric e-208 GT hot hatch and the car-maker's first battery-powered E-308 hatch.
It’s thought the first car based on the new design language introduced by the Inception won’t land until 2025.
Despite its decision to launch the Inception at the Las Vegas tech show, it’s believed Peugeot has no plans to relaunch in North America.
More teases are expected in the build-up to the Peugeot Inception’s world debut on January 5.
