Pimp your ride with these Kmart accessories under $10

Pimping your ride has never been more affordable.

So your car is a little older and you want to jazz it up a bit but can’t justify the price of a full Pimp My Ride treatment? The shelves in Kmart have had a make-over and their car accessories could just be the no more than $10 gift-to-self you’ve been looking for. Here are our five affordable favourites.

Sun shade - $5

Some products just don’t go away – they’re usually the ones that work. The humble accordion folding windscreen protector is a great way to keep your car cooler in summer while protecting your interior, too. While you can buy the traditional silver metallic one, why not spice up your life with a pink one instead?

Boot organiser  $10

Prone to clutter in the boot, who isn’t? The Kmart car boot organiser will see you right. Say good bye to rogue footy boots, dirty tools and things that go bang in the boot. The folding boot organisers sectioned storage is your pathway to tidy boot nirvana.

Boot liner - $10

Maybe a boot organiser is a step too far for your wild ways in the boot. This waterproof boot liner will at least protect your cars boot floor and maybe even contain a bit of grub (sand), too. But wait, there’s more. The liner has loop fasteners and folds over the rear of your vehicle to protect it while loading gear (I mean scooters, of course).

Side window shades - $2

Because, kids. But other occupants may benefit too. Like your front sun shade, side shades will also help with cabin temperature and reduce the groan from children who have sun their eyes. Rookie tip: if you have window lock function, use it. Retrieving a suction cup from your door interior is not fun.

3D Flamingo air freshener - $3

Because flamingos are very on trend but not many people can pull off a flamingo print. Hang it from your rear view mirror for full effect.
