Melbourne has joined Los Angeles, Munich, Monaco and Dubai to become the latest city to host a new flagship Pirelli P Zero World store.
Located in Preston, a northern suburb of the Victorian capital, the “boutique store for tyres” was designed in collaboration with family business Mag Wheel Tyre to provide bespoke tyre services for owners of sports and luxury cars.
The Italian tyre manufacturer says it chose Melbourne because it is home to more prestige vehicles (according to car registrations) than anywhere else in Australia.
Pirelli P Zero World Melbourne will also cater to the non-prestige market, offering rubber for SUVs, classic cars, motorcycles and even Velo bicycle tyres.
There are five service bays as well as an expert technician on hand to advise customers on both road and track set-ups, plus a range of Pirelli Design accessories developed alongside Puma, Montblanc, MV Agusta and others.
Home to the entire Pirelli range, including the P Zero Trofeo R and Pirelli Collezione, it will also offer courtesy cars to customers needing to jet off instead of waiting while their tyres are fitted.
