Plug-in sports car, maybe. Ferrari look-alike … no way
A battery- and solar-powered car due at this week's New York car show is said to rival Porsche and Ferrari for performance and, um, looks.It's said to hit 320km/h and run on solar power together with pumped up versions of laptop computer batteries. And we'd love to say its looks match the hype that's about to surround it.
But we can't.
The car is the Hybrid Technologies LiX-75 eco-sports car, and it's about to be unveiled at this week's New York International Auto Show carrying a pricetag that’s around $US125,000 ($A172,000).
