Porsche prices rise by up to $16,600

New model year delivers price hikes across range, with flagship Porsche Cayenne copping biggest hit

Porsche Cars Australia (PCA) has upped pricing across the bulk of its line-up, with the only model not subjected to a $2000-$16,600 increase being the iconic Porsche 911.

Like most car-makers at the moment, Porsche is struggling in the face of elevated production and shipping costs which coincide with the arrival of the majority of the sports car marque’s MY23 portfolio.

While a company spokesperson was unavailable for comment at the time of writing, carsales expects Porsche 911 pricing to increase in the coming weeks when the new mid-range GTS variants touch down.

A full price list is provided below (sans 911), but we’ll take you through the key price increases of the five affected model lines.

Porsche 718 Cayman

At the entry level to the brand, the starting price of the Porsche Macan has risen $5300 to $90,100 plus on-road costs, drastically closing the gap to the Macan T ($93,500) above it.

Macan prices have increased by between $2000-$8300, with the biggest jump reserved for the flagship GTS (now $138,100).

Prices of the Porsche 718 line-up, meanwhile, have risen by between $6900 and $14,700, pushing the entry price up to $125,600 plus ORCs for the base Porsche Boxster manual.

At the other end of the spectrum, the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS track hero is up to $312,700, although the biggest price hikes have been applied to the lesser Cayman GT4 duo (+$14,700).

Returning to the SUV family, the Porsche Cayenne has been subjected to the biggest price jumps of any MY23 Porsche, with the flagship Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT’s asking price now starting at $352,700 – up a hefty $16,600.

Porsche Cayenne

The remainder of the Cayenne range has risen between $3000 and $13,400. The entry level to the large sports-luxury SUV range has climbed $7000, now opening at $135,100.

Continuing up the range, Porsche Taycan prices have risen by a gentler $3400-$6800. As a result, the base-model Taycan now starts from $159,700 (+$3400) while the top-spec Turbo S pushes the ceiling up to $352,600 (+$6800).

As for the flagship Porsche Panamera sedan line-up, some might be surprised to see it’s the recipient of the smallest price increases compared to its stablemates, with prices rising by $4300-$8500 depending on the variant.

The entry-level Panamera now starts from $207,800 (up $4300), whereas the uber-luxurious, uber-rapid Turbo S E-Hybrid has risen $8600 to now start from $435,100.
