The Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels brand plans to launch at least 15 hotels right across the world in cities including London, Singapore, Dubai and Shanghai.
This collaboration between Porsche Design, the lifestyle arm of the Porsche car brand and Steigenberger Hotels which has been around for over 90 years aims to bring together design, technology and lifestyle at the very highest level, united by their German heritage.
The result, a unique brand experience created from the design philosophy and values of the exclusive Porsche Design lifestyle brand.
Guests at the hotel will be offered at least 150 rooms, suites, and penthouses that will feature a 'remarkable' restaurant and bar concept, exclusive Meet and Greet Cubes, and a health and beauty facility and gym extending over a minimum area of 1,000 square metres.
Deutsche Hospitality already runs a series of Luxury, Upscale, Midscale and Economy hotel brands in their home country and across the world. They have stated that their objective is to achieve significant worldwide growth by 2027, and this joint venture with Porsche design might just achieve that.
Marcus Bernhardt, CEO of Steigenberger Hotels AG/Deutsche Hospitality said “Our joint goal is to establish a new hotel product for a global target group which seeks uniqueness, and which has the highest aspirations regarding quality. For us, Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels constitutes an important step towards appealing to an attractive target group in the long term and towards meeting growing requirements for individuality, exclusivity, design and an inimitable hotel experience.”
No word yet on an official hotel opening date or whether we will see a Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotel down under.
