The LDV T60 Max has arrived in Australia as the new flagship of the company’s tough yet classy dual-cab ute range. Offering the power and performance to match the best-in-class, the LDV T60 Max delivers a long list of luxurious features for a lot less than popular alternatives.

Priced from just $33,990 driveaway for eligible ABN holders (or $35,779 driveaway for private buyers), the LDV T60 Max is available in two model grades, Pro and Luxe. Each is offered with the choice of a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an optional, high-tech ZF eight-speed automatic.

Headlining the T60 Max’s outstanding specifications is a powerful and proven bi-turbo diesel engine that generates 160kW of power and 500Nm of torque. The high-tech diesel is Euro V compliant with the fitment of a high-quality Bosch common rail fuel injection and features an advanced low- and high-pressure Exhaust Gas Regulator (EGR) to lower emissions.

The powerful bi-turbo diesel is matched to an advanced real-time four-wheel-drive transmission with a low-range transfer case. Suspension is double wishbone front and leaf-spring rear with excellent levels of wheel articulation and good ground clearance.

All of these mechanicals combine to ensure the LDV T60 Max is a tough and dependable four-wheeled sidekick for those that live their life to the max, whether that’s on the worksite or the weekend.

A 3.0-tonne braked trailer towing capacity adds to the versatility of the LDV T60 Max. Plus, with the ability to lug up to 935kg in payload, in the Pro manual model, within its sturdy lined tray, this tough but comfortable work and playmate makes light work of a heavy load.

The LDV T60 Max doesn’t sacrifice comfort for capability. Soothing on-road dynamics and a generous list of creature comforts are combined with luxurious conveniences and intuitive safety features.

In all T60 Max model variants, occupants are treated to a modern and spacious five-seat cabin with climate control air conditioning, four cupholders, USB and 12V power outlets, and a 10.25-inch colour infotainment display with Bluetooth connectivity and Apple CarPlay.

They are protected by a vehicle with a five-star ANCAP safety rating (2017) thanks to six airbags and a comprehensive suite of advanced driver aids, including traction and stability control, hill descent control and hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring, rear parking sensors, automatic wipers and dusk-sensing LED headlights.

The T60 Max Pro models also feature heavy-duty suspension settings, cloth interior trim and matte silver exterior highlights on the bold new front grille.

The flagship Luxe variants have a comfort suspension set-up and add leather trim, keyless entry with push button start, electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats, a black front grille and guard plate, on-demand rear differential lock, lane departure warning and a 360-degree reversing camera.

All LDV T60 models, including the Max, are covered by a five-year, 130,000km warranty with free roadside assistance for the same period.
