The Everything Electric show, powered by carsales, is on in Sydney this week and there’s no shortage of battery-powered goodies to wrap your peepers around, including some never-before-seen vehicles.
More than 25 car brands will be on display – with many offering test drives – including BMW, Ford, Kia, Polestar, Tesla, Volkswagen, and more.
And, there’s still time to get your tickets for this weekend’s show (March 7-9), with loads of attractions to keep you entertained, including live panel discussions, live YouTube-style car reviews, test drives/rides of electrified vehicles, an array of home energy products, a commercial vehicle zone, and the latest electric cars to hit the market.
One of those is the updated Tesla Model Y, codenamed ‘Juniper’, while the US brand’s polarizing Cybertruck is also set to appear.
Chinese newcomer Zeekr will also arrive in style, with its new 7X mid-size SUV, due on sale later this year with a claimed driving range of up to 780km.
An electric people mover will also be at the show, dubbed the Zeekr MIX. Versatility is the MIX’s party trick, with a cabin that can be transformed into a lounge room or private yoga studio, according to the brand.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen Group will have 14 new (or soon to arrive) vehicles on display, the most exciting of which is the Skoda Elroq SUV, which will land in Oz later this year as an indirect replacement for the Karoq small-medium SUV.
Others include the new Audi Q4 e-tron and Q6 e-tron SUVs, the Cupra Tavascan SUV, and the Volkswagen ID.Buzz van.
VW’s incoming ID.4 and ID.5 electric SUVs will also be on public display, ahead of customer deliveries due to begin mid-2025.
Stellantis will have five electrified models on show, including the recently revealed Leapmotor C10 and Jeep Avenger, as well as the Fiat 500e, Abarth 500e, and Alfa Romeo Tonale plug-in hybrid.
The recently launched Deepal brand will also have a strong presence at this year’s Everything Electric show, where the recently launched S07 mid-size SUV will be shown alongside new models including the S05 SUV and more rugged E07 SUV.
Test drives of the new E07 will be offered while the S05 and S07 will be on static display only.
Everything Electric is on at Sydney Showground (Olympic Park) on Friday, March 7, through to Sunday, March 9, from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day. For more information, head to the Everything Electric website.
