Pricing for Audi A5 and S5

Australians had their first look at Audi's A5/S5 twins back at this year's Melbourne Motor Show (more here).

Now, Audi has announced that the coupe models will be launched in Sydney at the Australian International Motor Show in October.

The A5 will be available initially with a direct-injection 3.2-litre V6 driving through a CVT ('Multitronic') transmission to the front wheels and will be priced at $91,900. Other variants, including 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel and 1.8-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol models will be progressively introduced during 2008.

Fitted with a 4.2-litre V8 and driving to all four wheels, the S5 quattro will be priced at $131,900 and will go on sale from the October launch.
