Prestige importer Jaguar missed the cut for our report on tariff-tweaked pricing for imported passenger vehicles last week.
There was no skulduggery about it. Marketing and Public Affairs Manager for the importer, Tim Krieger, was on a well-earned break at the time, but has since responded with details of revised pricing for the product range.
The company's XF sedan has been reduced in price, reflecting the reduction in imported passenger vehicle tariff from 10 per cent to five per cent with effect from January 1.
New pricing for the XF is as follows:
3.0L petrol - $105,990
3.0L diesel - $112,990
V8 - $144,490
XFR - $204,990
Both the new XJ and the upgraded XK model ranges will be introduced to the market later in the year, with "tariff reduction already factored into pricing," as explained by Krieger.
The only other vehicle in the product portfolio is the X-Type, for which there's "no change as the vehicle is already heavily discounted and in runout."
