Italy's Milan Expo has this week played host to Chinese brand Qoros, which previewed its new Qoros 5 SUV.
Larger than the Qoros 3 City SUV, the new model will get a fuller premiere at next month's Guangzhou motor show in southern China, but the Milanese reveal clearly shows this car is a little more upright, than the 3 City SUV.
Enthusiast site World Car Fans reports that the Qoros 5 is powered by a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder coupled to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Qoros 5 rides on 19-inch wheels and measures 4587mm long and 1878mm wide.
According to the press release for the vehicle, the Qoros 5 is joint styling project by design teams in Shanghai and Munich, and is about to conclude engineering tests in Spain.
"The spirit of independence is the soul of all designs. Milan is a center of science and technology, fashion and innovative products. By making the debut of the new Qoros 5 SUV in the design capital of Europe, we hope to demonstrate our unique pursuit for design that matches the spirit of the city." said Sun Xiaodong, Qoros Executive Vice President.
The Guangzhou motor show opens from November 20.
