Queensland drivers can now have an emoji number plate
Personalised emoji number plates are the newest thing in Queensland and we wouldn’t expect anything less from the sunshine state. Thumbs up emoji.From March 1st, Queenslanders will be able to upgrade their white and red standard issue plates for the iconic pop cultural sensation, the emoji. These number plates will really help you stand out in traffic.
If you are pondering whether these plates are the right look for your car, here are the important facts and figures. Each plate comes with one of five iconic emoji faces including laughing cry emoji, winking emoji, cool emoji, love heart eyes emoji and smiley face emoji. Unfortunately the poo emoji did not make the cut.
You can have a maximum of five characters with a mix of 3 letters and 2 numbers so choose wisely. They’ll be available from Personalised Plates Queensland and start from $85.40 through to $475. Dollar sign eye emoji.
It’s not the first time personalised plates have been given a pop culture twist, in Victoria, drivers are able to buy number plates with Superman and Batman symbols as well as AFL team stylised plates.
