Land Rover is adhering to the old adage, if it aint broke, don't fix it.
The Range Rover for 2008 is building on what is already a capable and comfortable platform, by offering an enhanced specification for slightly higher prices in the case of the naturally aspirated models.
New or revised features include a standard four-zone climate control system; the new system works faster to raise or lower the ambient temperature and can be adjusted to suit the individual needs of seat occupants.
Bluetooth capability has been improved through a new 'phonebook transfer' facility which is operable from the steering wheel remote controls and can copy phone numbers across to the audio head unit.
In the rear, the centre armrest features extra storage capacity and a specific receptacle for the rear entertainment system remote control. Additional leather trim is a feature of the heating and ventilation controls now and the rear of the centre console gains extra wood veneer highlights.
The wood veneer selection now comprises seven options, which are sourced from sustainable plantations.
Door sill plates have been re-styled and the touch screen and instruments display revised graphics.
Storm is a new interior colour and Alaska White and Lucerne Green have been added to the exterior colour pallete.
For the new model year, Land Rover is offering buyers a new selection of 'designers' choices' for interior and exterior colour schemes.
Pricing for the Range Rover Supercharged remains $185,900, but the TDV8 is now priced at $142,900 and the TDV8 Luxury has risen to $166,900.
