Ford has up-specced the XL version of its Ranger workhorse 12 months after its Australian launch in November 2006.
Ranger buyers purchasing the latest XL model will be pleased to note the now-standard power mirrors, power windows -- with automatic driver's side down -- engine immobiliser, central locking and remote keyless entry.
Particularly pleasing will be the fact that the recommended retail price for XL Ranger models remains the same.
The Ranger offers the choice of 2.5 and 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel engines and is available with two or four-wheel drive with a variety of configurations including single, "super" and crew cabs in cab-chassis or pickup form.
Ford Australia Vice President Marketing and Sales Mark Winslow claims the Ranger XL "offers a level of specification unmatched by any of its competitors."
