A new concept car from Infiniti will reflect the prestige brand's association with F1, when it is unveiled in Detroit early next year.
The car, based on the Q50 premium sports sedan, will be revealed during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in January. Dubbed the “Q50 Eau Rouge,” after the corner on the Spa-Francorchamps track, Infiniti is leveraging the knowledge learned partnering with Formula One team Red Bull Racing, to develop the car.
Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti’s Executive Design Director, says: “The Q50, with an abundance of technologies, provides a great basis for an extreme performance version, embodied in the design of the Q50 Eau Rouge.”
Expect an official unveiling and more news as we edge closer to the January 13 start date for NAIAS in Detroit.
