
Have you ever found yourself infuriated by drivers who refuse to give way at merging points?
They’re a menace to society, those gap closers who view anyone getting before them as a personal affront. It’s not just the ludicrous self-centredness that galls, but the stupidity of failing to realise that if we all merged in proper dovetail order we could do it at 100km/h. All that happens is that they keep “their” spot in the traffic, but they slow everything down and raise the aggregate blood pressure of those around them to sometimes dangerous levels – dangerous enough to see them doing equally stupid things to teach them the lesson they so richly deserve.
