Californian-based tuner, Rezvani, has released pics and details of an even wilder, faster version of its Beast supercar.
Starting with an Ariel Atom, Rezvani has made a name for itself for clothing the skeletal supercar in a carbon-fibre body and the new Beast X is no exception.
Where it differs is under its new skin, where it now packs an incredible 520kW produced from a twin-turbo 2.4-litre.
Factor in the extra power and a kerb weight of just 840kg and the Beast X comes with hypercar performance.
Against the clock, the Beast X is estimated to reach the 100km/h benchmark in around 2.5 seconds -- two-tenths quicker than the 373kW Beast 500 that’s already on sale.
Rezvani hasn’t claimed a top speed figure, but the Beast X is expected to easily exceed 300km/h.
To produce the added power and cope with the strain of it compared to the 500 model, the US car-maker added a pair of bigger turbos, forged pistons and valves and “strengthened” the engine internals.
Powering the rear wheels, the Beast X comes standard with a six-speed manual with the option of sequential ‘box.
Rezvani says it will make just five Beast X models at a cost of around $440,000 each. As well as the car, owners will gain free access to a number of track days around the country.
