Rolls-Royce has announced it will offer new vibrant fluorescent colours on the Rolls-Royce Dawn, Wraith and Cullinan Black Badge models.
The new limited-edition Neon Nights introduced on the convertible, coupe and SUV are said to have been inspired by exotic plants and animals, rather than mid-2000 New Rave.
Created for Rolls-Royce customers who 'dare to be different', the Neon Nights Collection colours were developed for the US market, but the (typically conservative) British marque then made the decision to offer the lurid colours worldwide.
However, there is a strict limit of four units for each colour across the three models.
Releasing pictures of some of the colour combinations that will be offered, the Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge is finished in a lime green that's claimed to have been inspired by the Australian green tree frog.
Inside, the bright exterior is contrasted with a Scivaro Grey leather that gets Lime Rock Green stitching and piping.
The Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge is finished in a colour called Eagle Rock Red, which is inspired by the flowers of the Hawaiian Ohi'a lehu tree.
Inside, there's Selby Grey leather with Koi Red stitching and piping.
Finally, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is finished in a new Mirabeau Blue that's combined with Arctic White leather inside and Lime Rock highlights.
The bright blue is said to be borrowed from the American Rhetus periander butterfly.
Under the bonnet, the Rolls-Royce models have no more power, meaning the Wraith Black Badge's twin-turbocharged 6.6-litre V12 musters 465kW and 870Nm, the Dawn Black Badge 442kW/840Nm and the Cullinan Black Badge 442kW/900Nm.
It's not known how much of a premium Rolls-Royce is charging for the Neon Nights Collection but it's thought to be a significant hike over the standard Black Badge versions of the Wraith ($720K), Dawn ($850K) and Cullinan ($760K).
