Savvy run-out

Proton is offering $2000 off to clear stocks of the current model Savvy

Proton will release the update of the company's Savvy light car (pictured) later this year. To clear inventory of the current model (more here), Proton dealers are now offering the car at $13,990 driveaway.

According to Proton, this represents a $2000 reduction from the factory price of $15,990. The car's spec is unchanged with standard features like ABS, power steering, front electric windows, reverse parking sensors, CD audio system, remote central locking and 15-inch alloy wheels all retained in the run-out models.

Proton is also offering free accessories normally retailing for more than $1200 as further incentives to buy its Jumbuck utility (also pictured). Priced from $16,990 driveaway, the Jumbuck GLi is now supplied with a tub liner and tow bar to complete the package.
