SEAT Ibiza Cupster for Worthesee

The Ibiza Cupster has officially been built to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Ibiza badge, but has unofficially been built to gauge interest in a SEAT version of the long-running VW Golf Cabriolet.
The cut-down Ibiza hatch has ditched its roof in favour of a wrap-around tinted screen designed more to deflect air than to protect its occupants from anything significant.
A running concept based around the Ibiza Cupra, it scores 132kW direct-injection, turbocharged power from its 1.4-litre four-cylinder motor and was designed at SEAT's Catalunyan base, behind Barcelona.
The front-drive Cupster gets a dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive and though SEAT doesn't claim any performance numbers for the concept car, the driver seat sits 80mm lower than in the standard three-door hatch, but the differences don't stop there.
The Cupster is wider, lower and fatter than the standard car and the two-seater gets a unique New Orange paint scheme and sits on 18-inch wheels and tyres.
