Second Picasso discovered

Not content with offering one C4-based Picasso peoplemover, Citroën has launched a second version

There are niches, and then there are niches…  It seems French marque Citroën is making sure it has got all its bases covered with the launch of a five-person C4-based Picasso peoplemover.

The seven-seat version of the Picasso was debuted at Paris Show late last year. The latest five-seater (pictured -- see blue car) will be offered in Europe alongside the bigger stablemate in a manner similar to Renault's Scenic and Grand Scenic pairing in the latter's home market.

Australians won't however get the choice. Indeed, local Citroën connections are at pains to point out that the Picasso it will be launching at the Melbourne International Motor Show in March will be the full-strength seven-homme model (also pictured -- see green car).

Confused now?  Don't be... We'll start again... There are niches, and then there are niches...  It seems French marque Citroën is making sure it has got all its bases covered...
