Sex sells... Least Nissan hopes that's the case! The Japanese marque has employed television sex siren Kim Cattrall to head its local campaign to launch the new Tiida small car.
Cattrall, of Sex & the City fame, flew to Australia in December to film a television commercial for the Tiida. She will also feature in print and other campaigns for the new small car. According to Nissan, both television and print elements "will focus on the attractive design and enhanced performance of the new vehicle."
Funny -- it looks like its focussing on Ms Cattrall to us.
The new Nissan will be available in both hatch and sedan variants and is powered by a 1.8-litre DOHC fuel-injected four-cyilnder petrol engine. Tiida goes on sale Down Under on February 1. Look out for CarPoint's launch review of the Tiida next week.
