Buick will reveal its next-generation Verano small sedan at the Shanghai motor show next week and, to build up excitement, has released a teaserpic ahead of the show.
Said to offer a “refreshing driving experience” the GM brand has given little away for the new Verano except to say that the production car it will reveal has been inspired by the 2013 Buick Riviera concept and the far bigger Buick Avenir concept that was shown at this year’s Detroit motor show.
In China, the Buick Verano is renamed the Wei Lang and, along with other passenger car and commercial vehicles, helps GM sell more that 3.5 million vehicles in 2014.
It’s unlikely the Verano will venture Down Under but could provide the basis for a Chevrolet or Holden of the future. Expect more information to be revealed along with the production car in the next couple of days.
