Nissan has added ammo to its top-selling X-TRAIL softroader with the addition of side airbags to some models and a new Limited Edition offering.
The limited edition is dubbed the X-TRAIL 40th Anniversary ST-S model. The new model has all the features of the existing X-TRAIL ST, and benefits from the addition of a sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps and an ST-S 40th Anniversary decal.
Meantime the side airbags will now be standard equipment in the high-spec Ti and Ti-L X-TRAIL models. In addition to the safety equipment the Ti now also comes standard with a sunroof.
Pricing for the 40th Anniversary X-TRAIL ST-S starts at $31,990 while the Ti and Ti-L models remain unchanged at $35,990 and $38,490 respectively.
The X-TRAIL 40th Anniversary Limited Edition ST-S goes on sale in early February.
