Skoda Australia has confirmed its product roadmap through to 2027, outlining a mix of plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery-electric (BEV) models as the Czech brand moves towards a fully electrified SUV line-up.
The second phase of Skoda Australia’s electrification era will kick-off in the coming weeks with the local release of the updated Enyaq, which will finally see the five-door wagon body added to the mix alongside the established coupe.
Both the Enyaq RS and the Elroq RS performance variants are targeted for a mid-2026 launch, giving buyers a full spread of sporty EV options.
The next arrivals will be plug-in hybrid versions of the new-generation Kodiaq and Superb, both due in the first quarter of 2026 – Skoda says examples are already in the country for local testing as it works through regulatory approvals and final pricing.
While timing remains subject to production schedules, the brand says it is “confident” of having both models in showrooms early next year.
Looking further ahead, Skoda has committed to two all-new EVs in 2027.
The pint-sized Epiq SUV will sit beneath the Karoq as the brand’s smallest electric SUV, while the Vision 7S concept, as previously reported, will evolve into a large three-row flagship family hauler.
Both will be based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, giving Skoda a complete spread of electric SUVs from small through to upper-large.
Mild-hybrid technology is also on the way, with electrified versions of the Octavia, Kodiaq and Superb due in 2026.
Skoda Australia marketing and product boss Kieren Merrigan confirmed these models are pencilled in for the first half of next year, further broadening the brand’s range of lower-emission options after a “year of launches” in 2025.
Pricing and specification details for any of the upcoming models are predictably yet to be announced, though it should only be a matter of days before we learn more about the updated Enyaq line-up.
