Suzuki will unveil its Swift S-CONCEPT at next month's Geneva International Motor Show, the concept previewed in teaser images today.
Based on the newly released all-new Swift hatch, S-CONCEPT promises to combine style with 'premium performance', with bodywork accents and a rear roof spoiler among the sporty additions. It's unclear if the S-CONCEPT will feature any performance enchancements at this stage, with Suzuki saying we'll have to wait and see come show time.
The sporty model will appear alongside Suzuki's new Splash (not sold in Australia), the light hatch featuring an economical yet more powerful 69kW dual-VVT 1.2-litre engine. Capable of delivering a combined fuel economy average of just 4.2L/100km (when mated to a manual transmission) Splash also boasts low CO2 emissions of 119g/km, a reduction of seven per cent over the existing model.
Splash will also be offered with new 'SZ' grading, the budget model offering an ultra-economical 1.0-litre engine.
