SPY PICS: Audi A1 facelift

It's midlife nip-tuck time for Ingolstadt's premium baby car; updated model likely to debut at Paris motor show
The Automedia snappers have been at it again, this time capturing a prototype of Audi's facelifted A1, which is likely to debut at October's Paris motor show.
The three-door A1 launched internationally in mid-2010 (the five-door Sportback was added in late 2011) and has been reasonably successful in our market, despite its premium pricing.
Audi sold 1637 A1s last year and 1782 units in 2012 – equating to just under 150 sales per month. The four-ringed brand has managed to carry through the sales impetus so far this year, with 713 A1s sold until the end of April.
Getting back to the camouflaged test mule you see here, it appears to adopt some of the styling cues embodied by the latest A3.
As such, this A1 prototype seemingly gains a new front grille, along with revised bumpers, linear headlights and fresh graphics for the taillights, with the linear brake lamps sitting up top.
The interior hasn't been ignored, as Euro sources suggest the cabin scores some minor tweaks around the air vents and centre console. There may also be minor updates to the trim colour choices and optional features list.
It's believed the engine line-up will remain unchanged, but we'll know more closer to the car's expected launch at October's Paris motor show.
The midlife upgrades will apply to both the three-door model, as well as the five-door Sportback.
