SPY PICS: Bentley SUV snapped in Germany

MLB-based mule clothed in Continental GT panels at the Nurburgring
It looks like the wooden spooner in a Batmobile look-alike contest, but the oddly proportioned mule pictured here is actually Bentley's forthcoming SUV in pre-production form.
Fear not, the production model won't look as ungainly, according to our spy photographers at Automedia. There's extra padding around the car's quarters to conceal the slinkier shape underneath, which will owe little to the poorly received EXP 9 F concept car unveiled in Geneva two years ago
The off-road Bentley has been seen before, but this time the vehicle has been caught at the Nurburgring, presumably for the purpose of testing high-speed handling.
Automedia surmises that the production model, which will be built on the MLB Evo platform reserved for large rear-wheel drive models in the Volkswagen stable, may be offered with the 6.0-litre W12 powerplant and/or a hybrid-drive system, but at the very least the SUV will come with a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8.
