SPY PICS: Hyundai light cars spotted

The tiny Hyundai i20 and even tinier i10 are caught in the open for the first time

"I spy with my little eye, something beginning with 'i'..."

Some two things, actually. These pics from those motor-drive maniacs at Carparazzi show both the Hyundai i10 and i20 undergoing testing in Europe.

The i20 is the replacement for the Getz and will possibly be sold as a three-door model also. It can be distinguished from the i10 in these photos by the reverse-canted window frame of the rear doors and black steel wheels. The i10 in the photos is fitted with alloy wheels.

Note from the side profile that the i20 is going to be blessed with very thick 'C' pillars or else the masking hides a sort of 'bustle-back' look.

We expect the i20 to be sold in Australia -- probably due around the middle of next year -- but doubt that the volumes would justify Hyundai bringing in the i10 or the Kia Picanto on which it's based. That size of car would be around the size of a Proton Savvy.
