If these images are anything to go by, it appears Jaguar is working on a more track-focussed version of its XKR-S.
Caught testing by spy photographers Carparazzi at Germany's Nurburgring, the sportier bright blue cat will likely challenge Porsche’s 911 GT3 RS and Audi R8 GT.
The snappers said the car appears to retain the “excellent-sounding” supercharged V8, though estimate its output to be uprated, possibly to as much as 600hp (447kW) -- up from 410kW in the ‘regular’ model.
Exterior modifications include a beefier front bumper -- complete with nose canards, a bonnet bristling with additional air intakes, a massive set of front stoppers and a huge black (possible carbon) rear wing.
It also appears that the cabin features only a pair of racing buckets, again suggesting a stripped-out track-day special.
