OK, so maybe the headlights of the new Maserati Quattroporte will be larger than the current car's; and perhaps the grille will be a different shape...but really, this must be one of the most subtle facelifts of recent times.
Only the Bentley Continental GT facelift (more here) has had fewer crow's feet removed. It almost falls into the basket of "why did they bother?" when the Quattroporte is and remains such a handsome car.
According to the cloak and dagger types at Carparazzi -- this Quattroporte was snapped while testing at the Nurburgring -- the air intakes below the front bumper are different and the rear bumper has been lightly revised.
The changes amount to a mid-life facelift and the upgraded model will possibly make its debut at the Detroit motor show (NAIAS) in January next year. If not then, perhaps the LA motor show.
