SPY PICS: Porsche Cayenne unwrapped

Prestige SUV to adopt twin-turbo V6 from Macan and Panamera
Porsche's new Cayenne is almost entirely disrobed, having discarded six of its seven veils. As the Automedia pics here show, there's little left to the imagination.
The new generation SUV was lightly disguised even when we published the spy snappers' last batch of photos, but as these latest photos indicate, the Cayenne's march to production appears very nearly complete. Only some camouflage around the Cayenne's tail lights remains – which leads the Automedia lensmen to suggest the production Cayenne's lights will owe something to the smaller Macan.
Other cosmetic changes appear to be limited to a new front bumper, revised grille, headlights and daytime running lights.
As we reported last week, the new Cayenne will introduce a plug-in hybrid variant to Australia. Automedia's spy snappers have also heard from other sources corroborating our previous information that the twin-turbo 3.0-litre petrol V6 already found in the Macan and Panamera 'S' variants will be offered in the Cayenne for the first time.
