SPY PICS: Seat Ibiza due mid 2009

Here's evidence that Hyundai is now setting trends for European stylists

We reckon this disguised car caught by master spy photographers, Carparazzi, could just as easily be some upcoming Hyundai model.

In fact, it's the next Seat Ibiza, snapped on location in Switzerland.

Seat, Volkswagen's Spanish brand, failed to find much of a market in Australia and departed these shores some years ago.

But the company is fighting fit in other parts of the world and this new, larger Ibiza adopts the latest corporate look to align it with other cars in the range -- the Leon, Altea and Toledo.

The Ibiza model sold in Australia in the nineties was based on the then current Type 3 Volkswagen Golf. Production versions of the new car are expected to go on sale in Europe around mid 2009.
