The hyperactive Carparazzi team recently snapped these pictures of a heavily disguised next-generation Mercedes-Benz SL on what appears to be hot-weather testing in the US. Our previous round of pics featured the prototype in deep freeze weather conditions.
Although the photo car appears to be wearing the same disguise featured in this year's February 2 story, the new batch of pics shows the Benz two-door in a much clearer light, confirming observations of a more upright nose profile on architecture similarly proportioned to the current model.
The next SL is rumoured to be built on a different chassis to today's version, and it is believed that, unlike the current model that is built at the company's Bremen plant, it will be built in Stuttgart.
The new SL Benz is expected to debut at the 2012 Paris motor show.
