We've seen Jaguar's first SUV in spy shots previously – in the snow of northern Sweden and on the road in southern Europe – but now the F-PACE has emerged in the first spy video and for the first time at the Nurburgring.
As these images show, the all-new British crossover, which will make its world debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September, has completed cold-weather development testing and is now being subjected to serious chassis testing at Germany's Nürburgring.
Although these pre-production prototypes remain covered in camouflage, they're clearly similar to the handsome C-X17 concept first seen back in 2013.
Due on sale in Australia by mid-2016, when the F-PACE will be aimed directly at top-selling large luxury SUVs like the BMW X5, Jaguar says its five-seat 'crossover' will be "the ultimate practical sports car".
As we've reported, the all-wheel F-PACE will share its new aluminium-intensive platform and engines with the mid-size XE sedan due in Jaguar's Australian showrooms in August.
