Chrysler has unveiled a big-engined, big-wheeled, thoroughly-blinged version of its 300C Touring.
The seriously fast wagon has copped a seriously aggressive makeover from the US makers's high performance haus, Street and Race Technology and boasts a 6.1-litre HEMI V8 that pumps out 317kW and 569Nm of torque.
Although not confirmed for Australia yet, diesel and conventional V8-engined Tourings will arrive locally later this year. With SRT8 sedan also already on the way, however, we wouldn't bet against this sleeper finding its way into the local Chrysler Jeep line-up before long.
Commenting on the launch of the uber-wagon, Gerry Jenkins, managing director, Chrysler Group Australia said: "The Chrysler 300C SRT8 Touring is the ultimate performance wagon. We're sure this new model would appeal to driving enthusiasts in Australia."
"We are currently evaluating its business case and hope to confirm it for Australia," said Jenkins.
The SRT8 Touring wowed the crowds last week at Geneva -- attracting more attention than offerings of some of the 'thoroughbred' Euro debutantes.
The 300C SRT-8 sedan arrives Down Under next month.
