Standard Bluetooth adds bite to Mazda3
Mazda updates its popular hatch with standard Bluetooth and tweaks to hotshot MPSMazda has given Australian customers one more reason to choose its chart-topping Mazda3 sedan and hatch, adding Bluetooth connectivity as standard across the range.
Mazda says its Bluetooth system, which allows hands-free phone calls and audio streaming, is the most up-to-date system of its type available.
It’s accompanied by standard USB capability across the range, enabling music to be played via iPod, iPhone and USB 2.0 memory sticks, with the convenience of steering wheel controls.
The car’s multi-information dash-display provides visual details such as the artist, the album and the track being played.
Car-spotters will also be keen to learn that the latest version of the meteoric 190kW/380Nm Mazda3 MPS can be identified by five key changes: Black Mica paint on the external mirrors, rear spoiler and lower rear bumper, dark metallic alloy finish on the 18-inch wheels and a shark fin radio antenna. It’s no faster, but a whole lot flasher.
Prices on those Mazda3 models affected by the changes, as well and on the MPS, are unchanged.
