Suzuki Australia has reduced the price of admission to its Swift range by about $3500, with the entry-level GA variant now available for $15,490 drive-away.
Given the base Swift’s price is normally $15,990 plus on-road costs, that represents a saving of $500 before statutory and other fees are included.
The same discount applies to the automatic version ($17,490 drive-away) – also for a limited time and also including Bluetooth connectivity as standard.
There are no other changes to the five-door Swift hatchback’s standard specifications list, including its 70kW/130Nm 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine.
Sales of both the Swift, which is the Japanese brand’s top-selling model, and the overall Suzuki model range are down by about five per cent so far this year.
